Arrrggh!!! (crush)

Over the past few weeks I have developed a *huge* crush on one of my teachers. This is totally out of character for me; as well as being in a totally functional and happy long-term relationship, I am not prone to pointless things such as these. But I feel like it's taking over my life. I just don't need this guy dominating my thoughts right now, and making me feel like I do - pangs of bittersweet longing are not my style. Can anyone offer some advice as to what I can do to stop this before it gets out of control?

Get in control of your brain. One of my old teachers lost his job, because a pupils crush got a bit out of hand. Having a crush on teacher is not a good idea and you probably know that but you have to put a stop to it. I know its difficult but just put him out of your mind as much as possible.

Take a guess?
She just made a few too many risky passes at him, the facts got twisted and made it back to her parents.

ahh don't worry! maybe if its one of those things that has developed quickly, then chances are it'll fade just as fast? Are you taught by him? (If you aren't, then he'll be easier to avoid!)

Risks totally out weigh the benefits, thats all you need to remember
I read the first sentence and started laughing.

I've had crushes on teachers...just don't think about it too much. Saying that, when I was younger I had a crush on a teacher for about 3 years. If you're not taught by him/her try to avoid them.

Seriously, don't worry about it. Its perfectly normal. I go to an all-girls school and we're all so frickin horny there we all have crushes on any male blood that passes through. Its highly unlikely that anything will ever happen, so dont let it bother you.

lol, you might regret it though! Loss of limbs/sanity is a common consequence of blokes coming to our school.

 lol, reminds me of what my friends were like when they were first put into direct contact with guys at a disco  They literally attacked them!! (we were at an all girls' school too)

Don't worry, no-one can avoid annoying&distracting crushes forever. Just don't fret about it and carry on with life as normal  it should pass over

Ahah.....the realms of teacher-crushes - you'll get over it. If you think about him lots and lots you'll get bored eventually.
