mixed sex youth hostel dorms ?

hi can anybody answer my question why is it when i stay it a youth hostel i never stay with any women in the dorm i am in , just with other blokes all the time ?

I would have thought it was obvious. I think people are happier in an all sex environment,the managers probably don't want a romp to break out either (not that that ever happens :p:
