It is a third year option. He could possibly be meaning that he intends to specialise in it... But still, he's a total eejit and I find it hard to believe he's really on his way here. If he is and I find out who he is I'll make his life hell
Yeah, you can do third and fourth year in it iirc, you still apply for phys natsci.

Spelling eejit correctly too, it's amazing how many people don't know how it's spelt.

Ah HAHA LOOOOSSEEEERRRRRRRRRR. I have 14A*, 6A's at AS levels
Very well done.

Putting aside, for just a second, that your highest qualification is roughly equivalent to the old "O" Level, have you ever wondered about all the people out there with degrees, masters, PhDs, heck, even professors themselves?

Most of them aren't arrogant or in the slightest boastful, and yet, you are, compared to them, slime. Your best achievement is to jump through a few hoops, regurgitate some answers, recite a practice essay.

And yet, you're cocky and they're not.

Funny, that.

Let me tell you what I look like so you won't miss me. I am 6'2, fairly average build, I have brown hair (intend on keeping it that way) and in case any of you are lucky enough to speak to me I have a slight accent (a little bit Australian as I spent five years there when I was younger as my mum is Australian). So see you guys in Cambs.
I'm sure we won't be able to miss you, your ego will be able to be seen for miles around.
I seriously hope I don't meet you, I'm not sure I could restrain myself.

Yup my arrogance shall shine like a beacon. But I merely ask the question, 'Why not?'

Here's a story - true I believe - I heard at Magdalen:

Some rich father who had a daughter applying for a place donated a large sum of money to the college, for the construction of a squash court centre.

Magdalen built the best courts in the university - and the man's daughter didn't get a place!

J.
Alot of contributions to the colleges come from old members (and i mean ALOT), and alot of people who come to parents do so because their parents did. (makes you wonder about the whole nurture vs nature thing a bit)
So i wouldn't be surprised to find many cases where a donor's child has applied, but doubt that the odds of getting in were any the higher for it

Look, whatever your name is, you can't get into Cambridge for astrophysics. It's not a first year option. I don't even know if it's a 3rd year option (MadNatSci??). So I can say quite categorically that you are talking *******s, like we didn't already know that.
yeh it's a part II. I know of 1 guy who did it, and he was a bit of a nob as well. The sort that walks along with their hands behind their back, stiff as a board, with trousers that a too short, and white socks on.
Everyone's equal on fresher's day.
And point of note, you can be a smart as you want in cambridge, but there's always going to be someone equally clever who also is a blue's sports player, or orchestral musician, or stand up comedian, director, actor....

I won't answer because I know that the question is not innocent but is for a sinister motive. You just want to compare notes! I like to keep my fans in suspense. Just give me a few more months and I shall materialise at Cambs. Cambs means Cambridgeshire, not Cambridge.
Hence you would materialise IN Cambs.
Or, even better, in the Cam...

We won't meet him as he's not coming.

What college are you supposedly going to, Mr. Troll?
