To be honest, love, it depends what you want from a lass - lets be frank about things.

Do you want her for a kiss? One night stand? Or an actual girlfriend?

I'll assume for arguments sake that you want a kiss/one night stand. If that's the case, then talking and buying drinks is the best way. I'm not implying that all girls are easy. Obviously, don't come on too strong but show you're interested by engaging in not only verbal conversation but EYE conversation. A girl likes to know that they're appreciated and guys are actually LISTENING to what they are saying, so make sure you nodd and listen to what this girl says.
