This forum is primarily Conservative.
I wouldn't say that..

It's much more conservative than the rest of our peer group, though.

ooh, i'm the only "other".

come on kildare, where are ya?!
I'm not British, so therefore can't vote . I'd be perfectly prepared to vote for the Lib Dem's if it meant defeating the Tories though. Oh and I heard that Irish people who live in Britain are entitled to the vote, would that mean I'd be able to vote next year as a uni student?

For an internet community made up mainly of young, reasonably bright people perhaps even suprisingly so.

I have to do a postal vote for my holiday address. SO the answer is probably no.

'to gain votes'- in your opinion. You don't think any other party is guilty of populism? (hint: the gross hypocriscy of the Tories posistion on tuition fees)

I put Lib Dem in the poll, but I could still be persuaded to vote for Labour, especially since I've met my local (Labour) MP a few times and I quite like him.

I don't think I could ever bring myself tovote for the Tories, even if they weren't led by Michael Howard.

But I'd feel a lot better about voting for Labour if Blair would just disassociate himself with George Bush.

How will they gain votes if those who benefit from this policy are underage and hence not part of the electorate?!

Or perhaps if he would oblige us all by committing suicide...

It would make a 16 year old favour the party hopefully until they are 18.
