In Love With Best Mate Eeekk !

Okay well I've been best mates with him for ages and have always liked him but now I have totally fallen head over heels for him ! .... We've both had boyfriends and girlfriends while we've been best mates ... he has only got out of a relationship recently .... We've kissed when we've been kind of drunk and most recently about a month ago and hes told me he loves me but iIdont know if I'm reading in to it too much ... I really like him but I dont know if he does so how do I find out ... Should I tell him I like him / eek need some advice !
