Hi guys, i'm considering applying to Lancaster for 2011 study and I'm aware it's split into colleges and you will live in your respective college (at least during first year). My question is how is your college determined because on the ucas form it doesn't allow you to select a college on that, are you given one or do you state your first choice after receiving an offer by Lancaster individually?

    Thanks

Yes, you choose the college you want to be in after you have accepted an offer, but it doesn't happen until about June, which is very late compared to other unis.
You nominate your top two colleges, but there is no guarantee that you will get into either of them. It all depends how many people apply for each one.
