Basically I want to change one of my choices, but it's been just under 3 weeks since I sent it (9 November)

If I ring ucas up, do you think they can still substitute the choice.
I want to change because the choice I want to change will just be a waste and I won't choose it anyway, I have not got any news from them yet as well

    Thanks

I think it has to be within the 14 day window after submitting your application- try asking Minerva she usually knows, but I dont think you can.

You can't change your choices after 14 days from the date on your Welcome Letter. Sorry man.

I'm afraid you are out of time on that one. You can cancel the choice if you like, but you can't put another in its place.

When was your welcome letter sent? Because IIRC correctly, it's fourteen days from that being sent, not when you submitted it... I'll go check that for you.

    EDIT: Yes, it is.

    University or college

You can change a university or college choice in Track within 14 days from the date on your welcome letter, as long as it's before 30 June.

Which means that the Welcome letter would have to be dated on or after 15 November for the OP to be able to change anything tomorrow - it doesn't usually take UCAS that long to process an application. That is, of course, assuming that it went to UCAS on 9 November, rather than to the OP's school or college.

My answer assumed your application went to UCAS on 9 November. Check the date on your Welcome letter, since as TheSownRose points out your deadline is 14 days from then.

No, it may not help him, but it's worth looking at - like you say, depends where it was sent to on the 9th, and on how long UCAS took to process it.

Can you not change the application outside of UCAS hours? Because if you can, he could get in within the next hour and scrape by with it being the 14th November instead.

Sorry about this :/ Good luck on getting offers from your other choices though, there's still something to remain positive about.
