    Criticisms on oapa?
    Criticisms on general defences?

The criticism depends on what area of law you're looking at?

I mean, some crits coincide but it's really topic-specific.

Well think about it. What is a bad thing about the OAPA?

First, is it a recent act?
What's the problem if it's not?

    What words are used?
    Are these... easily understandable?

What does it actually say? Does it give full details of AR and MR of the crimes? Does it even include all the crimes?

General defences... again it depends what defence.

You've just got to think, what does the defence do? What is it supposed to do? Are these the same?

Case criticism too, look at the different judgement - are these what is set out in the principles of the defence? Or are they different? Why are they different? What's the repercussion (Rule of Law, Sep Powers, Parliamentary Sovereignty)

    Insanity -
    Is it old?
    Do people use it?
What happens when people use it?
Does it take into account what it should?
Does it put a label on people who actually need a label?
What about people pleading guilty rather than insanity?

Intox, just look at the case law and the principles - are they conflicting?

What about intoxication and other defences? Is it fair you can't plead Intox + Mistake with Self defence?

Remember, crits can be positive, too.
