    I'm struggling with this questions, help would be appreciated.

    Draw a valid Lewis Structure for the compound of formula CH2CHNH, clearly show all bonds, electron pairs and formal charges.

    I've had a go at it, but I'm not sure if it's correct.

    The carbon on the right hand side has 10 electrons in its valence shell. This is not allowed (for period 2 compounds) ...

    However, the main problem is that the compound whose formula you have given does not exist...

    Right, well maybe that's why I'm finding this question impossible to do.

    No, now you've attached a negative ion...

    .. but the nitrogen has only got 6 electrons.
