# Equation of state for a perfect gas Watch

1. The pressure and density of a gas are 0.3MN/m2 and 0.8kg/m3 respectively. What is the temperature of the gas? The gas constant R for the gas is 250J/kgK.

How do you go about working this out?
2. PV=nRT

T=PV/nR

you have P,R.
density is m/V, and m=mol/Mr,
so if you have the Mr of the gas, you can convert the density from m/V to n/V by dividing by Mr. Then you have P,R,and D (where D=n/V), so you are set.
