retake marks?

this might seem like a dumb question but i need reassuring :s-smilie: ...

im planning to retake a paper from economics and chemistry AS in jan, which would be my final mark my best mark or the mark i get in january (regardless whether it is lower or higher that what i got on my previous paper)

im doing ocr chem and ocr eco if that helps!

its the highest you get. so if you resit and get lower, you keep your old mark

happened to me in ocr unit 1 chemistry, so resitting AGAIN
