    Hi,

I am doing my investigation on the efficiency of alcohol sanitizer gel, anti bacterial hand wash and bathroom soap on E.coli.

I am getting really confused about how much to use of each product? I was thinking about the sanitizer i would use the amount that dries in 20 seconds (amount of time taken to wash hands) and same with the hand wash. But how would I use the bathroom soap? since its a solid would i dissolve it in water then use it? but then how would i know how much i used since it is diluted?

I am sub culturing the e.coli into the agar plates which are incubated. Then i will use filter disks which have been soaked in the hand wash and gel. These plates will be left for 2 days and the bacteria will be measured.

Also, i am going to do the experiment using a nurtient broth just to see which method is effective.Again how would i use the bathroom soap?

Thank you soo much....any help appreciated!
