Hmmm not sure which songs were played a lot but 'Slam' & 'Fasten Your Seatbelt' by Pendulum will always remind me of mine because I went to see them play and had a great time!

To all the people who have just started at uni (or anyone who has ever been a fresher for that matter!), what songs were constantly played during your freshers week? For me it has to be Golddigga, Don't cha, and the baywatch theme tune!
Same here! im at Durham and its been those 3 all the way.
Can understand golddigga and dont cha being played, as their recent...really dont get why the Baywatch theme gets played! it is great when drunk though
Shockingly I don't actually remember a lot of the music from freshers week!! It was only a fortnight ago as well!!
I know Golddigger got a massive reception whenever it was on. And a lot of the other stuff was older songs - Insomnia, ABC, Livin On A Prayer, Walk This Way.

yeah we heard a lot of cheesy stuff and obviously classics like Bon jovi - j'adore. but obviously freshers chants too, like rutland take it up the arse doo daa etc - rutland is a hall at nottingham uni which is victimised as it was one of the last to go mixed genders.
my song was coheed and cambria- ten speed (god's blood and burial)

we always have the ghostbusters theme tune, ymca, build me up buttercup, and the usual crappy pop music that they generally play at student nights, they must really honestly think that we have no taste in music

Pretty much anything by Kaiser Chiefs...although everyone at Sussex seems to be into DnB (depressingly!).
