Hello, lately the second to the left molar on my left jaw has started to hurt. I've browsed around a bit and it could be either Wisdom Teeth coming through or an abcess, the later i'm hoping it isn't. I brush my teeth quite thoroughly and use mouthwash at least 3 times a day.

Your description is rather confusing but I'm guessing you have pain on the left hand side from one of your molars. Sounds like pericoronitis to me.

See your dentist so they can sort it out for you. If it is pericoronitis they will irrigate with some chlorhexidine and then maybe give you antibiotics if they feel there is systemic involvement. If you have repeated episodes of this there may be reason to take the tooth out.

    Best of luck :top:
