What are the different ways for portfolios to be presented?

Should it be like a graphic design/photography portfolio?

A4 leather folder? Would a kinda photoalbum thing with card and plastic sleeves be ok?

My teacher seems kinda picky and wants me to have the stuff printed out on card and everything, but he did photography so I dunno if I really have to go that far in terms of presentation for my course.......

    I'm doin film production BTW.

    Advice please

Listen to your teacher, they'll know how it needs to be portrayed. It certainly needs to be of a high quality whatever you produce, so it will need to be mounted on card/mount board. I had to do all this too i feel your pain.
