    I am, or was, taking 4 subjects at A2-Level;

    1) A-Level Maths
    2) A-Level English Literature
    3) A-Level Sociology
    4) BTEC National Certificate in IT

    I then applied for uni to study Computer Systems Engineering and got rejected by Bath, then got an offer from East Anglia for BBB including Maths - they did not want ICT, so I dropped ICT, as it takes up most of my school timetable - it was packed before I dropped it - also because I have 2 timetable clashes with Maths so I miss 2 lessons where the teacher explains everything so it kind of frustrates me...

    Anyway, I then got reconsidered and accepted by Bath for some reason (my predicted grades of A/B, B, B and DM were above their typical offer so don't know why rejected in the first place). Their offer was B in Maths and Distinction/Merit in BTEC National Certificate in IT so long as I redo 3 of the units I have completed already to move them up to Distinction (they're at merit at the moment); an easy offer... but I had dropped ICT - but that's not really the problem! I can take ICT back on and catch up even though it will fill up my timetable again and take away all my time and probably affect my other subjects, but I didn't want to go Bath for 1 reason; their course structure isn't as suitable for me as East Anglia's is, but it's still OK. Anyway, I'm having doubts of getting a B in English this year because last year I got a D due to some exam board mess (AQA really messed up) I was predicted an A in the exam and got an E... so I'm scared of missing the East Anglia offer, and because I don't have ICT, I will have nowhere to go! So I'm stuck.

    What would you do? take ICT back on, catch up, redo the 3 units Bath asked for and go there, or keep ICT off and focus on getting the 3 B's even though English is iffy. It would help of East Anglia accept BBC... that would much more realistic.

    Now you see why I'm confused and frustrated - it's the doubt of getting a B in English that has taken my self-esteem down to 0.

    Please help!

    Could you take IT back up, firm UEA because you like it most and insure Bath so that if English literature goes wrong you'll still have a uni place?

    That's the thing though. If I take ICT back up - I will have to deal with the stress of not understanding a lot of work, being behind the class a bit, redoing 3 units, finishing school 4:15pm and getting home at 6pm tired instead of finishing at 1:30pm and getting home 2:45pm not as tired and in the mood to do some A-Level work... it's so frustrating! Argh! Kill me! Killll me! I hope Lancaster reply and offer me BBC - that would be perfect, eventhough they require BBB and 2 science subjects.. which I don't have..
