I'm picking my A Levels and have one space left. I want to do Biology, but that will not benifit the job I want to do in Engineering. I could pick electronics which would help me in my career, but I do not want to do it. Should I go with what I want to do and what I'm good at, but is no good for me OR do something I'm not sure about and have never done before, but will help me?

If you think you could get the same grade in both then I would go for electronics because it will help in your career.... But I've never heard of an electronics A level...Biology sounds a bit more prestigious perhaps...so might want to consider what universities you will be applying to and whether they consider electronics... Hope that helps :-)

I've never heard of a uni not accepting Electronics, it's usually just General Studies and Critical Thinking they don't accept. As long as you have the subjects they require, it doesn't matter what your final choice is. Do what you enjoy most, because you'll get a higher grade in it.

I'm doing A2 Art & Design and I have 4 offers for Pharmacology. All they cared about were Chemistry and Bio.
