    I want to include retaking modules in my personal statement whilst I am taking a gap year, how would I incorporate this into my personal statement?

    Don't. It just draws their attention to past shortcomings. Retaking modules is not a good thing, focus on stuff that is.

    Are you re-sitting as a private candidate? I think you should just e-mail/call the individual universities. I did and I got an offer from Leeds

    i didnt even bother with that detail. i just said I was doing those subjects and then you put in the units you've done and not done... no biggy.

    I am in the same situation but I haven't mentioned mine.

    My reference mentions it though because my tutor talks about how determined I am etc.
