went to MMU open day, got the prospectus and everything, loved it and was told I needed BBC at A2 to do the course, it also states it in the prospectus they were giving out on the open day and just checked the website which has changed and now says 300 points at A2 (BBB) or equivalent. Already been rejected by Nottingham Trent for having BBC predicted when the requirements were BBB..feel like I've wasted both my top two choices now :/ any chance of me getting in?

Depends how competitive it is - they aren't likely to give offers to people who are aiming for BBC if they've got plenty of people applying with BBB. Obviously personal statement comes into this a lot and remember they are aware they've only just upped their requirements - you probably aren't the only one in this situation

To be blunt, I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't get an offer from them, however I would be no means write them off as a wasted choice - I got an offer higher than my predicted grades after all, and I'm nothing special

    Good luck!
