Hi ... Please could anyone help me with this... its rather important and urgent to me!

What would a the cells look like under a microscope with the following solutions:

    Slide A - Blood + distilled water

    Slide B - Blood + 0.5 molar salt solution

    Slide C - Blood + 1.0 molar salt solution

Which cells would look more isotonic, hypertonic and hydrotonic?

I have to draw diagrams reprosenting each slide.

Thank you in advance to anyone who will help!!!!!!

I am taking a stab at this in the middle of the night so it might be messed up but...

isotonic is B, hypertonic is C, and I can't find a definition for hydrotonic anywhere but probably it is the same as hypotonic, A. I think 0.5 mol/L is about the salt concentration of blood.
For pictures of what the cells look like go here:

    Hope that helps

You mean hypotonic, not hydrotonic. In slide A, the blood cells would be hypotonic in relation to the water. Slide B would be isotonic and C would be hypertonic.
