The protests today were the most peaceful so far and yet it has not made the news at all. On the bbc homepage there is no mention for the protests at the time of posting. If these protests do not make the news they will not gain momentum, which means less people will turn out at these demonstrations.

It may not seem like it but we are making progress, e.g. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-11878033 Welsh students are being promised to have their fees subsidised, that is now Scotland and Wales that have cheaper fees then England.

In addition Vince Cable is considering Abstaining instead of voting for a rise in fees. Obviously we want him to vote against fees but it is still progress.

Now I'm not saying we kill policemen or loot shops, but if we keep being peaceful we will run out of momentum. Now is the time to find the right balance and really put the pressure onto politicians. Does anyone agree?
