Hi, i would just like some opinions, About a month ago i sent my application to my head of college who hasnt done the reference yet. I applied to Greenwich, Kingston, Brunel, (Civil engineering) City uni (biomedical engineering) and Queens Mary (Materials science and engineering).

    My predicted grades as follows:
BTEC National certificate in engineering: DD
    A level chemistry: B
    A level Biology: B
AS Maths: (maybe i might set the exam in June because most of it is in the BTEC course, predicted grade would be a B/C)
My personal statement is quite good and above average, (so says my head of college).

Basically if i didnt get into queens mary i wasnt going to be happy with my other choices, because of the universities and the course (i picked civil engineering because of its pay i have no intrest in it what so ever).
I really want to do materials and specialise in nanotechnology or something, but i want to go to universities in or around London/South east which is a big problem.
So do you guyz think i might have a chance for universities like UCL for biotechnology? i have e mailed them just now so im just waiting for the reply. I would like any suggestions of what universities are good and what course my a levels can relate to, i want to do something both Engineering and Bio/Chem related. Thanks.
