    Hey guys,

Need a bit of help with this one. Writing a 1000 word essay on socail learning in animals and we have not had any lectures on it, we have to research it ourselves. I've been reading the very little literature about it and generally going around in circles.

I have found that there is basically non imitative and imitative social learning, and that there is a couple of sub categories under non imitative, such as local enhancement and stimulus enhancement. But further reading has found that there is observational learning too, and some others, and is migration classed as social learning? I'm not sure what is not animal learning which is a bit different.

I'm so muddled, any help will be greatly appreciated
