Because I'm quite anti-social and want to spend as little time with people as possible

Halls probably aren't the best place for you then.

    Ok...there not that bad.....
Depends on who you end up living with some unis do a questionaires so like minded people are put together

Also what course you are doing!

Doing nursing course not nice when other students come back from a night out and screaming/singing at the top of their voice at 2 am in the morning!......really not nice when you have a 1 to 9 pm the night before then a 7am to 3 pm the next day!

Well you could live in hall's, because if you're anti-social people will just disregard you and not invite you out, so you'll spend little time with them, and they'll spend little time with you, so everybody wins.

Or alternatively just go to rented student accomodation such as a flat or house, with say three or four people, then there will be even less people to see.

They're very sociable, although will depend on which type of halls you chose, some are usually quieter than others.Although if you don't want to socialise with the people you're living with, no one will make you, but it might be a bit awkward when you do bump into your flatmates....

If you live near enough, just live at home and commute?

Book a studio flat in halls, it will be much easier! I am now starting to regret living in a shared flat in halls, because no matter how nice people may appear they are very selfish and your kitchen will inevitably turn into a tip!!!

TBH, I'm not the most social person and I love living in halls! It's noisy sometimes, but if you can cope with that, it's ok. I suppose it depends what kind of halls they are - if there's a shared bathroom and/or kitchen, you sort of have to get along with people to use those.
