Our form is doing a secret santa and I have to get a prezzie for me teacher, fml.
He teaches Politics and History, and likes his films.

My mate recommended something on the lines of David Lynch's work but not Mulholland Drive. I must confess I'm not familiar with the man, I recognise the name and film but haven't seen it. Any ideas?

No film recommendations whatsoever? Surprising, poor form!

Not a film, but the series Twin Peaks is considered by many (myself included) as Lynch's best work.

If not, just go for one of his other films. Plenty of big ones out there, Eraserhead and Blue Velvet are springing to mind.

That's a Lynch film right there.

Was thinking of going with Twin Peaks, costs far too much though...

He's seen American History X and dislikes having to read subtitles for foreign films (what the hell, right?). Definitely seen the ones antonfigo mentioned too.

I was thinking of just going with Memento...

Damn, I hate giving presents. Ahaha

Get him Herzog's Bad Lieutenant if he's into that kind of thing.
