    Hi there.

I'm applying to read PPE at Oxford next year, so will need some content to show my interest.

What kinds of work experience could I do (other than shadowing an MP) to show that I'm interested in politics as a subject and would have the determination to study it at university level?

(I know there're probably countless other threads on this subject topic, but I'm new here).

In a PPE PS you'll have very little room for work experience type stuff - perhaps 2 or 3 sentences. I did 4 paragraphs - one on each of the 3 subjects and a 4th combining work experience and general EC stuff.

So yeah, I don't think it matters all that much. The interest you demonstrate in actual academia matters much more.
