So I am on a second year of a four year degree, which many employers consider equivalent to the first when it comes to eligibility to apply for internships. There generally seems to be relatively few internship opportunities (only major exception seems to be spring weeks for banks, but they dont seem to be that important compared to penultimate year internships). So in case I cant find a job for next summer and decide to go travelling abroad for 2 months, will this look bad on the CV (a summer when you didnt do anything career wise)

Do you have other work experience and what sort of internship are you aiming for in your penultimate year break ?
