    I want to do my masters in social Work, im so not clear about funding...can i get tuition fee funding? and maintainance grant or bursary...kind of like student loan in undergraduate study? Need help!!!

    You should get a bursary which is non income assessed and your fees will be paid by the GSCC. You can also apply for a maintenance grant which looks at your unearned income for the year and your partners salary (if applicable).

    For more info see the NHS Business Services website. What Ive listed above is the current funding arrangements but not sure if there are any plans to change these in the future.

    are the course fees definately paid by the gscc....it doesnt seem to say that on their website

    Yes, they are. My fees are being paid by my employer as Im on a training scheme but everyone else on the course has had their fees paid by the GSCC. If you look at the NHS Bursary application pack it does actually say in there about fees. This is what it says for this year: "Full time students: we will offer you up to £3,466 for the academic year 2010-2011." Obviously p/t courses are different in terms of funding.

    I dont know if this funding is likely to be changed in the future so you would have to check when applying.
