Don't ask me why :colone:

You pull women with your phone? And here I was doing it with looks alone

The guy you quoted is seriously over-compensating. It's worrying when someone can be so pro or anti a PHONE (for god's sakes). It's just a device. Some people like it, some dont. It doesnt have to be rationalised either. Again, it's just a phone. Please move on.

lol. I think the only points I can give you are the notifcation system and widgets but thats about it tbh.

I don't see why a micro usb port matters that much. Near enough everyone I know has an iPod cable, this I can just use that to charge my phone.

The iPhones screen is more than good enough thank you. That includes the brightness (which i often actually turn down) and the viewing angle.

I'd love to see proof of the iPhones slowness (web browsing and apps / interface). As every android phone I have used has been slower than my iPhone 4.

Personally, I like battery life. Thus I am more than happy with apples implementation of multitasking.
Theres only two cases where I can not multitask as I want (video in the background and IMing).

The CPU in both phones is pretty similar actually. As for the GPU, sadly gaming is bigger business on the iPhone, so I can't see the galaxy s's GPU being used too much.

Flash is a debatable issue, especially on mobile devices.

the iphone4 has a lower quality front facing camera,

For different codecs for films use something like the VLC app.

The iPhone 4 can output HD to a TV if you are using airplay.

For what bluetooth is usually used for (headsets, accessories etc) Bluetooth 3 isn't that critical.

I'm pretty sure you can play HQ youtube vids over 3G. Just go to the youtube mobile site.

You can sync wirelessly (jailbreak it).

You can make an iPhone a wifi hotspot (again jailbreak it)

Emulators you can get by jailbreaking too.

HD porn? Really? Just use the web browser if you really need to fap to a tiny screen.

the iphone4 lacks a built in FM radio

The iPhone does have push email.

Build quality is not just about cracking. Yes, drop an iPhone 4 and it has a higher chance of breaking than the Galaxy S. But the actual build quality and feel is much better. Also, I'd say you should mega careful with any smartphone considering its price.

Your right about airplay or you can buy the composite or component cables from apple if you want to share your content on any tv

Also the hotspot thing - you can do pretty much the same thing with tethering if your network operator allows you to do it for free

Except for whatever reason, you can only output in SD over the cables. Its stupid tbh.

I would not get any of them. You should get the HTC Desire HD. Amazing phone.
HTC Desire HD

THUMBS UP IF YOU LIKE IT (I want it now!)

iPhone 4, i've had many phones and usually get rid of them after 3 months due to getting bored, but i've had my iPhone 3G for two years now and this month i'm getting the iPhone 4.
I just like the operating system, Android gets on my nerves, i've used my friends HTC Desire and it was laggy, crashing and the battery life was awful, that could just be his phone though.

Windows 7 mobile knocks blocks off both of them though.

Yeah it was a faulty phone...
Dont even get me started! Everybody would take an iPhone over any other phone in the market! Some just cant afford it so lie and say they prefer other phones!

Wow you arrogant person just being able to buy a phone because of its price doesnt mean that you can't afford it it means that their are better phones for value. Have you even read that the iphone doesnt have
iphone 4 without a doubt...samsung cannot replicate the experience that apple delivers on it's iphones. it is a truly amazing device, well worth the price apple pay. the numbers are very very simple here, if the iphone 4 was not as good as people say, then why is there so much demand for the iphone 4?...why are so many people paying the high price for the iphone 4?...

it boils down to the experience. individually, htc/samsung/sony etc can all do what iphone can do, wether we are talking text messages, touch screen, apps, music, it can all be done in the competitors product, buts always how it does it. there is no phone in the market which runs as smoothly and impeccably as the iphone 4. it just works, it does everything just a touch more classier than it's competitors.

if you wana save money and have the features, buy samsung or htc or sony ericsson or whatever people are talking about nowadays. if you want a solid experience from start to finish then its iphone. and i dont know anyone who has an iphone and is dissapointed with it, and i talk to a lot of people during uni and work.

to put a different way. take a bmw 3 series and vauxhall astra. both cars drive, both cars seat 5 people, has radio, and nice seats and loads of features. both cars will comfortable drive very fast on the motorway. however the vauxhall astra is cheaper to run, cheaper to insure, cheaper to mantain, cheaper to service, cheaper to buy. you ask your self why would anyone buy the bmw?...its because with the bmw you are paying a higher price but you are getting alot more, you are getting precision engineering, from the smallest volume knob to the solid suspension, to the drive, to the comfort, its the smallest things which contribute to the overall bmw experience, that is what sells, and bmw do sell alot of the 3 series.

same for the iphone, its the smallest things added together which make up the overall experience, and that is why in many people's opinion, iphone > all other phones on the market...
