I just wanted to know why is it that is you add silver and copper to gold it changes charateristics such as is density and melting point?
Also why alloying gold with copper and silver give gold more strength.
    Ty in advance!

Because copper and silver have different characteristics to gold.

different atomic radius, so it disrupts the packing of the metallic structure, preventing the layers slipping easily -> more strength (standard GCSE alloy theory).

Also bonding will change as you've got Ag/Au or Cu/Au as well as just Au/Au metallic bonding.
