He swept to the Presidency with dogmatic and foolish optimism rather than realism and substance. His poor performance on the economy is a case in point to his incompetence.

He has not really failed tbh. The stimulus stopped things getting worse. Not really sure what he could do. America is the world's biggest economy its hardly an easy thing to deal with

I think you're confusing Obama with Reagan, or Schwarzenegger.

I would love to see him as the President. He was my childhood hero.

What is the New World Order and how is being run by it.

Do you mean Obama has aN OBLIGATION to make America have moral high ground in all circumstances?

      Fair.

However Obama was inspirational and optimistic to an extent so huge that not even 1/12 of what he said could be reasonably exprected to come to fruition.

True. But we also have to take into account his personal situation. He is a black guy in America running for president. So naturally he would have to go that extra distance to gain an advantage.

On the other hand however he may have believed that after George Bush he would have more support than he truly did and thus that would enable all his plans to come to fruition and he may have just over-estimated how popular he was.

        ce·leb·rity

        noun

        1. wide recognition; fame; renown
        2. pl. celebrities -·ties a famous or well-publicized person
Yes, he's a celebrity. Pretty hard to dispute that he's the President of the United States, so I'm going to stick with my view that he is both a president and a celebrity.
