How's your course going?

Just thought id revive the soton section a bit now weve had our first proper week of study, to see what you guys think of your course, and things in general.

My course is ok, but a lot of work (mechanical engineering) with a self study maths thing which is pretty much A level, but i didnt do very well at a level- so need to improve that a bit :p:

Otherwise things are going good, but have been a little stressed recently- i had two bikes stolen the first week nad am still trying to sort out insurance, but at least ive built a replacement bike now. (ust to make htings clear- im bike mad, its my hobby/passion whatever you want to call it. I did have 4 good bikes, now i have 3- all worth over a grand each, so am very pissed off about the being nicked bit!) i am now fighting to let me keep my new bike in my room.

mine is going fine so far. i thought i had a busy timetable, but i found i only have one programming labs and 1 lab a week, rather than the 6 labs in the timetable. so i more time off than i thought, so that was cool.

basic stuff so far, so its not 2 hard. i have the same self study maths thing, which means i have no maths lectures, which is nice. Wierd teaching myself though

Hmm Not too bad. The timetables pretty good, and I have the odd morning and afternoon off. The elctures for psych are pretty easy going and cover alot of what I already learnt at A-level so cant really hate that.. The Lab pract starts this week thou so then the fun bit starts. The politics option is pretty hard going, But Hopefully I can make it thru the semester.
