    Basically,

I've got an interview/workshop next wednesday for drama at exeter,

    HOWEVER

the snow has postponed my drama school play which was supposed to be all this week, and it might get moved to next week!

Its not definite (they might move it to the week after instead, hopefully) but if they do have to put it on next week i need to be in it as i'm a principle role and dont have an understudy.

If it comes to it, do you think Exeter will be OK at giving me another date at such short notice? I live in Essex therefore i wont be able to do both.

    Thanks a lot

I should imagine so, especially since it is for a drama commitment. Best email in plenty of time and ask though

Well surely your school will make a decision on the play soon?

If you're a principle part and the date is still up in the air simply tell the school you have an interview and won't be able to be in the play on the relevant day of your interview if they put it on that week...

Perhaps urging the school to postpone it longer would be better than delaying your interview

As some above said, if youre a main part they cant do it without ya!

Then email or ring them up to let them know that you might be unable to make the date they gave you and find out if it is possible to rearrange it if you need to, once you know the new date of your play. Then you just need to remember to let them know if you need the data changing ASAP once you are told the new dates of your play.
