    Hey
I have been friends with a group of girls for a year. I met them last year at college and we got on fine. Through out the year they all got close to each other, but i didn’t get as close to them. However I was still invited to any event they planned. Now we are all in A2 and have some similar lessons together i still hang around with them and go on lunch breaks together. But I feel like they don’t want me to hang out with them anymore. they exclude me in their conversations and have nick names for each other and share personal jokes. Yesterday we were in the common room they all sat and formed this kind of a circle and completely left me out. They don’t ever let me engage in their conversations. I try to make an effort but they cut me out and start talking about something completely different. They have arranged at night out for next week and I was invited to this, one of the girls facebooked me sayin “hey we’re going out next week, i know you might not want to come but i still thought i let you know” i told her next day that I won’t go because I want to get ready for my mock exams and I am not prepared for them. Another reason that I didn’t want to go out with them next week is because I know they will completely ignore me on the night and it will a waste of money and effort what the hell! they invite me to events but they don’t talk to me at college. This whole ignoring me started at the end of AS, and it is getting worse everyday. Even today during lunch break i felt like crying, i just sit with them quietly as they don’t give me a chance to talk today I realised maybe I should just stop hanging out with them but I haven’t done anything wrong to these girls, I am not a *****y person and I have nothing against them. I am also not being paranoid about this situation as other people in my college have noticed it too and asked me if everything between us was ok. I don’t really know why they are being like this. I’m not socially awkward or anything I get on and make conversations with other people really well, but these girls are making me feel left out and unsociable.. Do you guys think i should ask them why they are treating me like this? Or should i just leave them and not hang out with them?? I’m really confused and upset. Don’t really know what i should do

whenever I'm with these girls I feel like s*** and want to cry, I've been thinking about any possibilities why they are all acting like this towards me but I really can't see any reasons. It's really bothering me,

Just completely ignore them and make other friends.. Or just hang out with your other friends (Assuming you have other friends?) They're being complete idiots to you, so why should you even bother with them? They clearly don't deserve your friendship.

If you'd like to know what's up then I'd ask them. maybe individually if that helps.

but don't stand for it either. find other friends. sometimes girls just start to think they are higher thab others. or maybe you clash with them but don't realise.

For a start, don't blame yourself. You seem like a nice person and deserve better than this. I spent the good part of this year trying to force myself into a friendship group but once i really got to know the people I realised that they were actually quite nasty people who didn't really give a damn about anybody and only made friends so they felt popular. I don't know these girls and they might be nice people but it sounds as if they're purposefully excluding you which definetly shows that they are not good people so in that case why would you want to be friends with them? You cannot force friendship. I'm sure that there are plenty of people who will want to be your friend so do yourself a favour and stop hanging out with these girls and find those people.

Been through this experience and it so isn't worth it.

    Seriously; forget it. Trust me.

Look, you'll probably never see them again in a few years, so just focus on your school work and let that be.

this is the problem, everyone has their social groups, I was meant to be a member of this group but they obviously don't want me anymore, I have other friends who i talk to but I can't just randomly go and join their group...I really don't want any problems and more *****iness. I know if i start hanging out with new people my so called friends will start *****ing about me more..I think im just gonna stand there and watch me burn so glad A2 will be over in a few months but i can't believe i'm going to leave college with bad memories

Not long till A2 is finished so just stick it out even if that means being on your own after all you probably would never see them again once uni comes around.

Well women can be *****y like that. Just tell them to **** off or if they are valuable friends just as then straight up why they are being *****es to you. If they don't hive a satisfactory answer or stop then ditch them. Have you done anything that might have upset them in any way.

tbh except for one of the girls i really don't want to have any kind of contact with any of them after we leave college. only this one girl who i really like, she always used to be nice to me but now it's been a while that she is ignoring me to the point that she hardly says hi to me when she sees me, she is becoming more like the rest of them i really don't know why,. and I have just had enough i don't want to be begging for their friendship.

Ahh the classic one way friendships. We've all been there and tbh it's really annoying when girls give off mixed signals like that. I think if they are making you feel really unhappy then the only thing you can really do is find new friends that appreciate you for who you are. Sounds cliche but it's true.

Only about another 5/6 months and a2 will be over.
I agree you probably won't see them again after that - so why should you care?
They aren't going to do much for you anyway, not as real friends so just concentrate on your course and socialise with other people.

Anonymous .......first you should ask them about the reasons for this kind of ignoring and try to understand them maybe you do something bother them but you don'n know. and try to tell them your feeling about that . but if yoy notice that Ineffective make Real decision and leave them.
