That is actually the first result that comes back when you google "WSOp Eyesight"

After using 'Google' I found that WSOp can have an uncorrected Vision Acuity of 6/24 in each eye which equates to around 20/80 on the snellen chart.
Pilot is 6/6 Uncorrected.
WSO: 6/24 Uncorrected - 6/6 Corrected.
WSOp: 6/24 Uncorrected - 6/6 Corrected.
I was in the same scary position when I wanted to apply as pilot, but was turned down because of my eyesight.
I am as of September 2010 (eyesight check-up)....
6/5 in my left eye and 6/18 in my right (which is correctable to 6/6).
So thank the lord I am ok for WSO and/or WSOp.
Best type in on www.google.com 'RAF Eyesight sheet' print one off and take it to your local Optician to fill out, take it to your local AFCO who can help further.
But in response to 'Can you wear glasses', as I believe you can't. You need to have the eyesight requirements whilst going through OASC, but once you've passed that within reason, or if your eyesight deterioates badly you may given some RAF Issued spectacles or told to 'Sod Off' because your eyesight is getting worse for your designated role ; particually Aircrew.Last edited by WILSON92; 03-12-2010 at 13:41.
