Why do people wait for sex (that do everything else) Watch

seeing as my question went missed on the other thread.

Why is that people focus so much on sex and by that I mean vaginal penetration and whether or not they are ready or it is 'right' or whatever reason they might have.

Now that's fine and dandy and I fully understand why you would wait but what I don't understand is, a lot of these people do everything else (some even include anal, because it's not proper sex to them)

Surely if you're ready to engage in sexual activities such as oral what real difference will it make? If you're ready and happy to do such, what makes vaginal sex so different?

    Why do you care?
because it seems illogical to me and I want to understand people's mindsets? I mean they are free to do as they wish, I just "don't get it"

It is illogical. Nothing you can do about it, imo.

Where am I saying I want it to change? I just wanted some viewpoints on why they do?

Next you'll be telling me I can't ask people about religion and why they choose to follow

surely that can apply to other acts as well? which is the point I am trying to get at. Like someone is confident enough to open her legs and let him lick her out but penis = no no?

What makes "it" so different? Is it a mental thing ? Like oh I've given myself up?

I didn't mean that. I'm exactly saying people won't change.

One of the reasons may be that they don't find vaginal sex appealing?

very. I knew this one girl who was actually proud and went around saying, "Oh I've never had sex, I'm so pure me" but she's given oral to about 12 different guys, many she met like an hour prior.

    confusing is definitely the word.

I think people take vaginal sex seriously because it's the whole concept of going 'All the way' and having a special 'First Time' and the whole idea of being 'Pure' but I don't get why they don't do that if they're doing everything else... It confuses me too.

They want to be able to say they are virgins, for some reason or another.
It makes no sense to me, but whatever. I just feel sorry for their boyfriends/girlfriends.
