Basically, uni have messed me around and left me without a video camera to make my film and I need to film this weekend. The only option is to buy a video camera. I need a camcorder that is good enough for me to be able to make a reasonable quality film, but it can't cost over £120 cuz i'm already broke as it is. I don't have much time to research it because i need a camcorder tomorrow! I've found a lot of these little camcorders like this: http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/samsung...98783-pdt.html
but will the footage be good enough quality? The video cameras most people are using to make their films are 3k cameras that you rent out from uni, but, in short, they wouldn't let me take the camera i had booked out. So yeah, will a basic cheap one like i posted above be adequate, or will i need something better?
I'll definitely give everyone who helps me out a positive rating! Thank you!

Compared to a 3k video camera? It's basically a toy. You'd be better off talking to your tutor and explaining that for whatever reason you can't use the proper cameras this weekend and would you be able to do it when one becomes available? From memory I don't think that even has a white balance control, let alone focus and metering options. That said, what sort of filming do you want to do and for what purpose is it?
