    hey all

im doing some research on chartism. im looking for an edited book with a chapter on chartism, it can be anything on chartism....i can't seem to find one, but there must be one

this what an edited book is (incase you're confused):
Edited books contain collections of chapters which are written by different authors and collated by an editor or editors

    thank you in advance

Do I assume you are an A level Student?
The chances of finding anything substantial with this form of research is minimal.
What you should be looking for is a Social History book of England covering the periods of 1815 onwards.
The only way you're going to get edited historiography is through a textbook.

thank you for replying to my message

i know, ive found oads of books, but my teacher doesn't want me to include just websites (like most of us usually do), he wants us to include books, journals etc and one of the things we're supposed to include is a chapter on chartism from an edited book.

ive been looking for days and i can't find one, i only asked here incase someone has read or knows of a book

ive already included many of the books you have listed and they're not edited books. The only one that is an edited book is 'people, power and politics' but that doesn't tell me anything about chartism. Actually the chartism hasnt even been mentioned in the book at all.
Many of them are monographs and ive included those, and an introductory book but i need an edited book. and i can't seem to find one with a chapter on chartism anywhere.

thank you again for the books you've listed
