Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good revision/crash courses for Jan exams? Hope I'm not the only one who hasn't started revising yet!

By a revision guide. By a book that has lots of questions related to your course. Read your book over and over again. Do the questions until you perfect. Discuss any issues with friends or teachers. Work hard!

Know the mark scheme terminology. Rev. guide is a very good idea.

Hi, thanks for the advice. I kinda meant if anyone knew which of those Intensive Revision Courses were worth going on...? You knoe,..those week long intensive things. Heard ppl mention them before...

Places like Duff Miller, MPW, Justin Craig, Oxbridge Masterclasses etc and/or any 6th form colleges...? Any of you been on any of their courses? Some are ridiculously expensive. Justin Craig and the Oxbridge one are a bit more affordable. Still,..my parents ar gna have me pay for part of it if I do go for it...

Anyone know which one is the best/worth it? Heard or used ANY of them??

Thanks. Need to make a decision soon..

there isn't any point in wasting your time going to them, when instead you can revise at home alongside a £10 revision guide, at the most.

Yeah, you are right. I've heard good and bad stories about these things. Some ppl have said it really worked well for them though,..revision guides don't always have enough practice or even all the required information (or just say the absolute minimum). Will have a think...

Think I need more discipline,..been saying that for a while though. Hm.

One of those courses mentioned supervised study/homework periods. That would help I think - being able to ask whenever u have an issue and forced to work. I'd also possibly feel a bit more confident if some genius from Oxford/Cambridge who's done it all before were around to guide me. But it is a stupid amount of money.

Dont suppose any of you have ever gone down the private tuition route before? (did it for 11+ long long ago!)

If any of you have been on any of these kind of courses please let me know what you though of them. Thanks again.
