no and absolutely not, school uniforms don't exist in the US and they could never exist here in public schools due to cliques and how high school students have always had the freedom of being able to dress how they wish, so long as they don't violate a dress code, plus people would rebel, and I'd be one of those rebels

    1. no, we should be allowed to defend ourselves, liberty is a higher end than safety any day, and a prerequisite anyway.

    2. yes, up to the person what they do with themselves, aint harming anyone else

    3. no death penalty, at the end of the day your giving the state the power to kill people and i frankly dont think anyone is all knowing enough to judge if someone is guilty.

    4. no to banning video games, another slippery slope, first off its violent games then later on its news the govt doesnt like, maybe have an age ratings thing with all ratings so say a 12 year old cant buy a 16 game without a parent on hand, older people can decide what they want to see for themselves.

    5. maybe pull the troops out, they arent really getting anywhere right now, but it could get a whole lot worse if they pull out to the point iran has an ally which hates us, so i say step it right up or just go home, should never have gone though.

    6. abortion, dodgy one, before the embyro shows signs of cognitive activity, then i'd give an unhappy yes, after showing cognitive activity though as far as im concerned thats a seperate being and abortion is murder

    7. stem cell research, legal yes, governmentally subsidised no.

    8. sex offenders, imprisoned and listed yes, the other stuff no because you can never tell 100% if someone is guilty, lengthen the jail terms though.

    9. police tickets, put them in other areas of spending, obviously if it went straight to the police its a motive to be too liberal with them.

    10. police quotas, no, bad idea, cosmetic solution.

    11. iran, no we should back off and talk to them, get trade open again, best way to beat an enemy is make them a friend, no good will come of another war

    12. NK, no, leave them be aswell, back off and let them implode, keep troops in south korea but encourage them to trade and liberalise

    13. bailout failing businesses, hell no, thats like telling gamblers you will cover their losses, if you reward failure, failure will increase.

    14. government interference in economy, they should be lassaiz faire, the government cannot run things to save themselves because they have no motive, they get payed by our taxes regardless of how they run things, people always say greed is evil but greed for our money, when we are free to spend our money as we will, means the greedy have to provide a good service and satisfy our needs before they can get our money.

    15. lgbt rights, yes, so long as those rights be the right to do whatever the hell they want without harming anyone else, if someone wants to marry lgbt people then let them it doesnt hurt anyone else.

    16. iraq, stay a little longer just to train up their army and give it a period of probation, then get out.

    17. gay marriage, again let them do what they want.

    18. kosovo, hold a referendum over all the sub areas of kosovo, those with a majority stay kosovo, those that dont become serbia.

    19. azerbaijan, same deal as kosovo

    20. johnothanland - never heard of it :P, same deal as kosovo again i guess

    21. south ossetia, same again.

    22 - 26. no opinion

    27 - 28. iraq/afghanistan a us state, lol no :P

    29. wikileaks shutdown, no deffo not they are just telling the truth, if thats a crime then where have we come to, the people doing the dirt should be the ones getting prosecuted, as they are the ones endangering us lives, imagine if the uncovery of watergate had been treated as treason?

    30. military spending, yes within reason, so long as we can defend ourselves against attack i dont see why we need to have a military thats designed for foreign intervention

    31. illegal immigration, if the us has to be a welfare state then yes, if not then no leave it be.

    32. dc voting rights, no opinion.

    33. nyc, leave it as it is

    34. north american union, no leave it as it is.

    35. censorship, no as i said before its a slippery slope from violent stuff to censoring dissent.

    36. criminalising holocaust denial/9/11 truthers, no they should be free to say what they want and we should be free to call them idiots for it.

    37. free broadband, no such thing as a free lunch, just means taxes go up and the people who dont want or cant use broadband have to pay for it too.

    38. government enforcing internet laws, yes, so long as those laws are only to prosecute fraud, theft or direct harm.

    39. ban 4chan, no, ban neither.

    40. suffrage for 13 year olds, no make it 16 in the uk, can join the army and have a kid but cant vote to say what kind of country they are born into, thats wrong.

    41. drinking age should be 18 generally though weak drinks with a meal is fine at 16, its prettymuch fine in the uk right now.

    42. seperation of church and state, yes, seperate, no favouritism.

    43. ground zero mosque, leave it to the local authority, mayor, council or whatever.

    44. free healthcare, no, if you dont want it why should you have to pay for other people, probably cost the nation more too as the govt cant run a piss up in a brewery.

    45. free uni, no, not the taxpayers duty to put people through uni, loans already cover tuition and degree jobs pay well regardless if your from a rich or poor background, only people to lose out are drop outs and thats on them.

    46. criminalise tobacco, no, just ban it in public owned buildings, eg state schools, so people who partly own that building and dont smoke dont have to put up with passive smoke, let people smoke outside all they want, and let private businesses and properties decide if they want to allow it or not.

    47. criminalise alcohol, no, prohibiton failed, just pushes it underground and makes gangsters rich.

    48. government secrets, no, on everything which private citizens money is used it should be totally transparent, pretty unrealistic i know but hey if the govt was smaller and given less responsability they wouldnt really have alot of scope for the sneaky stuff.

    49. classified documents, yup declassify them, short term it could cause problems but long term it would stop the govt doing the kind of stuff that it needs to keep secret anyway, within reason though obv dont put "how we built the nuke" out there

    50. political awareness, no the govt should not because inevitably it would just turn into "what is an acceptable view" which in turn would probably become "support one of the main 2 parties or your a dangerous extremist".

    51. public school beatings and uniforms, no, private can with uniforms though seeing as nobody is forced to go (so long as the kid gives consent) beatings though are beatings, cant mass justify that.

    52. weapons in space, yeah, try and get some treaties though to agree not to put them there.

    53. us join the international criminal court, no, keep your sovereignty

    54. age of consent to 13, hum, maybe if its between two 13 year olds but otherwise no 16, i'd say between two 14-15 year olds fine, 16+ let them do what they want, just no 40 year olds having sex with 14 year olds.

    55. jullian assange, no the rape charge is a farce obviously an attempt at character assassination, as for the releasing documents, no, he's just giving us the truth which we have a right to know.

    56. nasa, no opinion really, might be a good idea as it'll probably pay off in the future, not really fair to do it with tax money though.

    57. mars colony, go for it i guess.

    58. ban nukes, nice in principle but pretty unworkable and besides nukes really discourage wars, if you know that if you nuke someone your gonna have mutually assured destruction chances are you arent going to do it, if two sides say they will give up the nukes, both sides will think its a bluff and they are going to keep some hidden just incase, then nothing really changes you just have a pretense of disarmament.

    59. nuclear power, dont like it much because it has the potential to screw up an entire area even though the people dwelling there have no say in its construction, im inclined to say no because it seems like too great a risk, which if it does go wrong is not confined to those taking the risk but on people with nothing to do with it.

    60. teenage privaleges, i think besides from voting the current way of things is pretty ok.

    61. pmc's, sure, just make sure they uphold the conventions of war geneva convention etc.

    62. foreign intervention on atrocities, hmm, nice in theory but they usually cause as much trouble as they solve and its not really realistic anyway as the only reason people in power seem to do anything is if their interests are involved.

    63. cloning, research is fine if private, dont publicly fund it.

    64. guantanamo, keep it open providing guantanamo is inside american law.

    65. guantanamo should not be a state but should be under us law so the abuses cant continue.

    66. us imperialism, no, it would be the end of the usa and totally wrong anyway.

    67. world democratic republic, no, decentralised governments are far better, can address the concerns of the locals, and if you dont like the way one country or place is run you can move, if it was global there would be nowhere to hide, choice is good, imagine the power someone could hold too if they got into office, potential for abuse is too high.
