I am in Year 12 and I am taking 4 AS. I was predicted mostly As for my gcses but did really badly. AAABCCCC. I want to study law at uni and am doing extra study outside with ILEX and I am doing well. The problem I have is that my school who do Oxbridge lessons to get you through interview/personal statements have told me that I have no hope of applying to Oxbridge (which I accept) but also that no good law school will take me either with my gcses and I might get into Cardiff if I am lucky. Also I cannot go to the Oxbridge lessons as they will not be applicable to me. I am achieving mostly As in my 4 subjects at present French, History, ICT, Business Studies.
This has left me feeling very down and all Ive ever wanted to do is law and in particular Corporate. Can anyone tell me if any good uni will take me if I can get 4 AS as A grade. Any help will be appreciated.

If you get 4 A's at AS and continue to do well into A level, you stand a strong chance of getting into a reasonable university for law. Not all universities put the same emphasis on obtaining high GCSE's and most look at other factors.
If you can get some work experience in and show your enthusiasm then you're certainly in with a chance.
