hi guys, I just got predicted a C in As Physics as of taking it in A2, the others is A* in Maths and Further Maths and an A in Economics, and am applying for economics course in Durham, UCL and Baths. My tutor told me to not worry thou cause of entrance tutor wont care much about the As subjects, but am not too confident about that, how come top unis would be intereted C graded students?

I'm assuming you got a C in AS Physics or was it due to the class tests you done when you came back in September? You should of battled with your teacher pushing to get you up to a B if you had the chance.

My mate didn't get a place at UCL because one was C grade.. though your A*'s will probably put you on a good level overall.

Well seeing as it's only an AS it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Most universities just ask for a pass in an extra AS, they don't usually specify the grade .

thanks for replying guys, they said i got predicted a C because I only have been taking the subject for 3 months and even though i ve got all A in my course work, its still not enough to give me an A in prediction (??), also said its a bit unique when A2 student take As subject in addition so universities would just be careless about the prediction
yh I think i will ask for at least a B but hes a stubborn head tutor :-ss
