    thought i might get more replies here.
    This is the question:
    Ethanol precipitation can be used to concentrate DNA solutions. A 22 mL solution of double-stranded DNA had an absorbance at 260 nm of 0.52. After ethanol precipitation and centrifugation, the precipitate was redissolved in 1 ml TE buffer. The absorbance at 260 nm of a 1/10 dilution of this solution was 0.86. What % of the original DNA had been recovered?

    i dont know quite how to go about this question.
