    Hello
I broke up with my 7month boyfriend 2 weeks ago.
The reason for our break up is quite unclear, he tells me that 'we weren't good together', and we also like to concentrate on our exams.

Since our breakup, he has been texting/msning me to check how I am
every few days. He says he wants to stay friends but I'm not sure if I can do that.
I've told him that I'm not over him yet and he still contacts me.
I think we need time apart, give each other space, but why he keeps hurting me
by asking how I am... I'm not sure. I'm so confused.

We live quite close and have similar friends, so it's unlikely that we won't
hear news about each other. So should I just pretend that nothing has happened and stay friends with him?

We're meeting tomorrow. He says that he wants to have dinner together.
    What should I do?

I don't think you should go for dinner with him or meet up with him until you feel that you can. If you would rather not talk to him at all right now, then tell him that. You need your space now, but in the future you can build up your friendly relationship again
