    Here's the scenario

Want to study French + Politics @ uni. Love Durham. Durham doesn't have a joint honours programme for French + Politics.

I've applied for Combined Honours in Arts. The prospectus says you can talk up to half of your modules in the Social Sciences Department.

In an ideal world, I would therefore be doing half of my modules in just French (from the arts department) and half of my modules in Government and International Affairs (the social sciences department).

However, is this possible? Or will I need to choose a subject in addition to French from the arts department ? Seeing as it is Combined Honours in arts that i'm applying for....

I've also catered my personal statement around French + Politics as this is what I'm applying for at the other unis...

    Help please ??!!?!?
