iPod Engraving for my Girlfriend - What should I get?

Poll

Which one?

I've got an iPod for my girlfriend this Christmas and was just looking for some ideas for an engraving. I don't really want it to be really soppy, just something sweet. I didn't get it from Apple so I couldn't get it engraved when I ordered it ;/

Please vote for your favourite or feel free to make up your own suggestions!

If anyone has any suggestions of where to engrave the iPod, that would be helpful too as I've heard getting an iPod engraved with a machine from a regular place can mess the iPod up.

PS, JB and SN are our initials..

Make it personal but not too personal. Do you have an in joke or anything?

That is soppy and you haven't been going out that long. Way too full on. An in-joke would be nice, something fairly casual, something that if you ever do break up, yet remain friends, she will look at and still be happy with.
Ugh, don't engrave. It's tacky and ruins the re-sale value.

EDIT: You should load it with loads of your favourite songs - a digital mix tape if you will. You can thank me for all the sex you get later.

Don't engrave it with something that means she can't continue using it when you break up.
I'd go for something to like:

"If music be the food of love, play on"

Not too soppy, still shows love, but if break up she can just see it as nice quote

luff you 4eva 2k10

she'll be weak at the knees!

Nah but seriously, this stuff makes me cringe, keep it simple, no over the top "always" or "forever" statements. Just an i love you or just simple JB + SN

Then on the night you can get to be doing some of that grown up loving :ahee:
I'd advise against it - if you were to break up, no doubt the iPod will bring bad connatations for her, and she'll be put off using it.

Lmao you guys are right, it's pretty soppy...

JB + SN 04/07/10
iLoveYou
x

Or

JB + SN (04/07/10)
iLoveYou
x
Still too soppy?

It would actually come out like this:

JB + SN 04/07/10
. iLoveYou
. x

Without the dots..

Urgh, basically I'd have the iLoveYou directly underneath in the middle; the same goes for the 'x'

I like this idea, I would go for this if I were you OP. Or some other music-related quote that the two of you can relate to.

None of this "X & Y 2gether 4eva" or " xx and xx I love you" rubbish. If I got an ipod engraved with that, I would not be best pleased. It's far too soppy and corny.

Loading favourite songs of yours and hers onto the ipod is also a good idea.
