I have a semi-formal occasion coming up and I would like to wear Blue Jeans, along with a suit (black) jacket... what should the third peice be? that goes well with jeans?

As for footwear; should I wear trainers or smart shoes with that? thanks...

I'd go for dark blue jeans or black jeans.

For the shirt just any casual long sleeved shirt.

I'd go for shoes as well.

Basically formal, but not your best.

Thanks what colour for the shirt? I have a white "squared" one with a black jacket and dark-ish blue jeans :yep:

      This is too 2006-ish.

To pull this off now you would have to buy a very nice fitted jacket with good material and the jeans will have to be very good as well with great fit which is also not going to be your standard 40 quid pair.

On top you will need matching quality shoes and belt.

Also you will need an accessory such as a scarf.

You said semi-formal so maybe some nice knitware for under the jacket.
