I'm not a student any more, but thought I'd reply anyway. I mostly go out to do my Christmas shopping. I find some of the most interesting presents I give are ones that I didn't specifically go out looking for, and it's harder to find lovely random presents like that online. Besides, it makes me feel much more Christmassy to go outside and see all the lights and decorations. I'm not normally a fan of shopping (except food), but I love it at Christmas.
I've done a lot of mine online. Like DVD's and books and things. But also in the shops I've bought things like shower gel and chocolates.
