    Hey guys,

I was supposed to be going away for the first week of the Christmas holidays, however for reasons which I cant remember, they had to push it forward. That means I'm leaving tomorrow. Only thing is, Im gonna have to miss a week of 6th form. I'm really, really lucky I have no January exams. Do you guys reckon I will be missing a lot? Does any one know from experiance whether there will be lots to catch up? I hope I dont miss too much

Just get your friends to tell you what they covered while you were away and go over it yourself when you get back

What does that equate to? 1 lesson in each subject? Can't see it being a massive deal over a 2 year college career.

    Depends on the subjects, really.
If you're studying Maths, you could miss quite a lot, as the course moves pretty fast, picking up a lot of techniques all the time, but if you're studying something like Geography, you'll probably be able to pick up what you missed by reading over text books.

You're just lucky you don't have any exams.

Trust me, the reason I made this thread is because I'm anything but a nerd. I'm so lazy I'm just dreading the thought of catching up on so much work.

And thanks to all the replies guys, luckily I dont take maths

You'll be fine, I missed three days because of a geography trip and I didn't even have to do any extra catching up really

My friend was off ill for two weeks. It has affected his grades a bit but he's catching up. He is having to do some work at lunch and after college with teachers so you might have to put some extra time in yourself.

Doubt you'll miss much, you'll be fine. Just catch up yourself, best thing to do
